Hello everyone! It's funny Mallory has been telling me to get on this FB page and share what is going on with us these days. I have struggled as I have always felt like my muffin company was part of my family and I miss "muffining" and talking to you all. What I loved the most was getting to know you all and being of help to you. I came up with Baking You Happy because that was what was so fulfilling for me. Mallory's Marvelous Muffins was like my 3rd child and after 25 years of growing the business it was so hard to let it go. I always thought I would start it up again but now 5 years later and a move to Florida I am not so sure there is enough air conditioning to work in a hot kitchen!!!!!
A lot has changed. Mallory was just 4 when I started the business and she is now 35. My son Scott was just 8 years old and he is married 12 years now . Scott and Natalie have 3 amazing boys who just light up my world! Time goes by so quickly.
I have always been an advocate for those who are neuro divergent. My baby had Down syndrome and Aspergers. Mallory was diagnosed with Aspergers when she was 17. Her struggles have been with her as I recall since they cut the umbilical chord. Its been a journey that we are going to share on our new pod cast, Mallory's Thought Bubble which we hope with launch next month.
