Exploring other species, we have decided to downsize a little. We are NOT stopping goats, we just aren’t showing and traveling like we were since other livestock has entered the picture. To start with,
We would love to find a home for this bonded pair of does. (2 years old and one year old). Mother daughter pair, sweet as pie, but like I said they are bonded. It was a busy last week for our two legged and four legged Muggles! Ellie helped show some bigger standard size goats as well as Nigerians at the ADGA show, and then ended the week with the YLE (livestock expo) showing with JC’s Big Richard -
A maintainer calf- all at the Erie county fair! In between, she met with fair campers, and talked to fair goers about her goats and other animals. Now we are going to let the animals rest for a few weeks and then test our herd before breeding plans start for the next year! Hard to believe the summer is almost gone! Head out to the The Erie County Fair opening tomorrow and see a few of the Muggle Magic crew in the Agricultural Discovery Center inside the ECF! We love educating young and old on goats! 4H day camp got to meet and play with JellyBean- and boy did they have some great questions about goats for us! 4H and FFA are great places for your kids to learn a lot about not only animals, but responsibility, fun, confidence, and relationships! It’s a wonderful organization!

Muggle Magic Minerva Mcgonagall (Barn name “Minnie”) had one quite large doeling early this morning after a tumultuous week! Meet Muggle Magic JellyBean (barn name “Bean”) Mom and kid are doing well. Minnie was bred to Bit of Mischief Denali, a beautiful gold and white buck with blue eyes. As you can see, she got her daddy’s eyes and mommas coloring! Jazzy is due next, mid April! Welcome to the world Bean! (Black jelly beans are my favorite!)
