Ponderosa Pecan Farm We currently grow six different kinds of Organic Texas Pecan varieties in our 205 acres pecan orchard. Kanza, Caddo, Pawnee, Nacono, Desirable, and Choctaw.

We raise Dorper Sheep. We raise free-range and great tasting Dorper sheep on our farm.

We are hosting families for Eid al-Adha, the "Festival of Sacrifice," this coming Wednesday 27th and Thursday the 28th. We still have ram lambs available (6 to 9 months old). Our farm is organic. With Greek Orthodox Easter (April 12) and Western Easter (April 5) approaching, we want to connect with our Orthodox Christian neighbors across Central and South Texas.

We raise Dorper lambs right here at Ponderosa Pecan and Dorper Farm in Bastrop, TX — a quiet, clean farm about 30 minutes from Austin. Our lambs are 4–5 months old, pasture-raised, and ready for your Easter table.
