Well hello friends..
I thought I would give you guys an update on my life since closing Not Just Burgers..As a lot of you know already.
Feb 2nd I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer..that has metastasis to the liver part of the spine and right femur. I have taken 2 rounds of chemo .. after 2 more rounds, they will check to see if I need more.... so far the side affects aren't too bad, just dont have engery to do to anything
So friends I ask you to keep me , and my family in your prayers For those that know Russell, I'll just say he has become very domesticated with his sweeping moping and washing dishes...
I will update with changes as they come about.
I surely have missed seeing you all.. and if I do say so myself I miss those hamburgers...

It is with a sad heart, a happy heart, yet, a peacefull heart, that I must tell you Friday will be our last day at Not Just Burgers .
It has been an exciting, and rewarding experience, along with some stressfull times, through out this past 91/2 years. However, there are some other things I would like to do while I am still physically able. I am not getting any younger.
Just know we do appericate all the support and the friendships that have developed through this little burger shack on the side of the road on hwy 139..
Stop bye to see us.. Hours this week 10 to 630 pm..will close friday at 630.. Be safe and may God bless you all..oh and please share..

Not Just Burgers will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays ..Atleast through the rest of the summer.. until weather cools off some..We are trying our best, to hang in there for the evening hours.. There is just no way to cool that kitchen off, due to having to use the overhead exhaust system, and it sucks out the cool air along with hot... which I must say it has always been that way..but as we get older it gets worse...and August is even hotter..
I really hate to do this, as I have always tried to be there for those who needed our services, but with everything considered, this seemed to be the best solution, as of right now.
I apologize for the inconvenience, if we can come up with a solution to the problem we will reconsider..
