It's going to be a great week folks! How do we know? The sun is shining, the tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers are coming in, and our summer crops are all in the ground. We transplanted sweet potatoes into the ground on Friday, and we are excited for those in the late summer, early fall (yes, it will get there someday). Otherwise, we will be introducing okra, peas, more beans, eggplant and some new peppers soon folks. Can't wait for all the summer variety.

market is open 9 am to 1 pm today. Come get you some goodies, leave with the feeling that you are making a difference in the world and your body. Seasonal eating is a perfect way to give your body the nutrients it needs/wants to deal with our Texas summertime temps.

What to expect at the market this week: cucumbers, beans, leeks, so many different styles of cherry tomatoes, peppers, potatoes and more!
This season has presented some hiccups - and we are still going. Our large section of Cherokee purple tomatoes (our favorite) decided to suffer from blight - and we had to pull all 120 plants due to the disease). Many of our tomatoes have suffered due to the large amounts of rain - busting on the vine. Well, the time is now folks - all the cherry style tomatoes are here. Come get as many as you can fit in your bag. They are equally delicious and provide tons of versatility in the kitchen. Thanks for understanding that Mother Earth had different plans this season.

Wow!!! We are open today and have some rain kissed produce. Come see and taste the difference between something harvested fresh and ripe. It is a huge difference! We do offer tastings..... farm stand open 9 am to 1 pm today.

Morning Bastrop! This is what you can expect at the farm stand today. Open 9-1. Tomatoes, potatoes, onions, leeks, celery, peppers, cucumbers, beans, herbs, and much more! Come visit us. Or bike on over - its National bike to work today. Our crew does that often, and Bastrop is easy to get around - so come bike over.
