My current project. I'm literally making it up as I go.

I'm debating about writing it all down. It would be the first knitting pattern I've ever written.

These are for my (almost) 7 year old. I started them a while ago & if I don't finish them soon, her feet will be too big! So, wabi-sabi is the name of the game. Imperfect but finished is the goal.

For reference, the lighter colored egg is a Large. The minimum weight to qualify as a Jumbo chicken egg is 2.5oz. these weigh in at 3.05oz, 3.25oz, and 3.35oz. that poor chicken. Ouch!🫣

You guys . . . this little dude . . . He watched me doing chores in the coop for a good five minutes before I finally noticed him. And, yes, that's egg yolk all over his face 🤦. He took a ride in a net and found a new home a few miles away.

My husband thinks opossums are "just about the ugliest mammals alive." What do you think? Personally, I would happily snuggle him all up and boop that nose if I didn't think it would end with all of his pointy parts making new holes in my skin.

Pretty happy with my first plaid darn. I was going for a "rustic" look. It may be a *little* more rustic than I intended, but I won't tell if you won't.

Starting a new darn on a pair of my daughter's wool pants. I'm attempting a plaid this time. We shall see how it turns out!

I'm making use of a huge stash of wool needlepoint thread I scooped up at the local thrift store.

The rainbow of threads came with several patterns to match. Someone out there was unable to finish the projects they dreamed about, but their supplies are being put to good use!

One of my current projects. It's far from perfect, but the price was right & I've already made some improvements. Now to clean it out & slap on a coat of paint to prevent further rot. Short term, it'll do the job!
