🎉The Anniversary Celebration Continues!🎉
Today we release the 4th Anniversary Belgian Quad // 10.5% Brewed to celebrate our fourth anniversary, this Belgian Quad features a beautiful reddish-amber hue. Expect notes of sarsaparilla root on the nose, accompanied by medium caramel, plum, and spicy flavors, leading to a dry and warming finish.

Back when there were 4! These photos were taken October 14, 2022 on our opening night! What a great memory of support from the community!

We are so grateful to all of our community members and Faithful Friends who have supported us and have made Sturdy Shelter a place of gathering and belonging! With each year, you have joined us in the many weekly events—from Premier League, Trivia, Euchre, The Music Round, Bingo to more recently Bunco, Chess Club, and Crokinole—Sturdy is a place for people to gather and enjoy great b**r and great company! We are especially grateful for how you show up for our neighbors in need by filling the Community Pantry, attending Becoming Neighbors, participating in the Sturdy Speaker Series, and food competitions. The dream of providing a space for meaningful interactions and support for the community has come true, and we couldn’t do it without you!

We are looking forward to celebrating with all of you! Music with Dennis O’Brien on Friday, and Paul and Jay Music on Saturday, Burn’n Bull BBQ, Stadium Street Eats and Tamales Plus Food Partners, Hallowerq Dance Class with Deena Vargecko and Becoming Neighbors Community Conversation on Sunday, Fourth Anniversary Dinner on Monday, and a Special 4th Anniversary Belgian Style Quad! On Sunday, 3-5 pm, be sure to join Lumunos and Sturdy Shelter for Becoming Neighbors: Treading Water Alongside Our Immigrant Neighbors. Sturdy Shelter is turning 4 this week and what better way to celebrate than hosting another Becoming Neighbors Community Conversation with Lumunos! Being a part of a larger community and holding up voices that are often unheard is an important value for us.

Please plan to come next Sunday and support our Immigrant Neighbors. Bears are on at noon so you can do both! Food by Tamales Plus 2-6!

Sturdy Shelter “Song Circle” hosted by Ben Groth! Join us the first Monday of every month from 6:30-8:30pm, beginning October 5th.

Bring your instrument and a song, whether it’s a cover or an original. We’ll sit in a circle and share our song! Unlike an open mic where there are speakers and microphones, we will simply share our song unplugged with the circle of friends and friends soon to be. Remember, voices are instruments too!

Mondays are $5 Draft Beers too! Open 2-9!
