Yesterday we greeted the spring equinox by finishing the build of a new 20 x 72 ft greenhouse! 🎉 A shoutout to our lovely friends Noah Florence, Alexis and Ryan for helping us put up the plastic. Also, our pepper and eggplant seedlings germinated well!

Hey friends,

We have turned on sign-ups for the 2026 season at thecotterfarm.com. I will send messages out to everyone who wanted a reminder soon.

The 29th of May is the start day this year. We are increasing our delivery range. The member cap is 200. Everything else is the same as far as prices, half shares, pick-up count, and pick your own flowers.

Join our CSA program for fresh, locally grown vegetables and flowers. Located in Batavia, Ohio, we serve Cincinnati and surrounding areas in Hamilton and Clermont counties. Full and half shares available with optional delivery.

Just a reminder that this is the last week of the CSA for full shares (ending this Tuesday 11/18)! Last week was the last week for half shares. The flowers are in! Members, feel free to bring a vase or bucket and some scissors to harvest some flowers. You should be able to see the sunflowers from the road. There is a pull off by the bridge that’s more convenient if you want to utilize that. Any flowers on the stand are not free. Text or call with any questions! 💐🌻🌻🌻

Hey everyone, I'm just posting the automatic email that comes when you sign up with the website. I will be resending it to all of your emails.

Hello!

Thanks for signing up with the Cotter Farm CSA! Here are some details about how all this works. The first pick up day is May 30th this year. That is a Friday. You may pick up Friday through Tuesday. Deliveries will go out on Friday after we were done with some harvest, washing and packing.

The CSA will continue for 25 weeks after that. Half shares will pick up every even numbered week starting June 6th. When you come you will go into the walk-in cooler and grab your half bushel cardboard box.

We will have a whiteboard that will explain any other extra details. Please read the sign as it will explain how many tomatoes or pumpkins to grab or what that weird vegetable is inside your box.

The field and greenhouse are looking great 🥰. The spring root crops are plumping up, and the leafy greens are looking lush. We’re excited for this upsomong CSA season! If you aren’t signed up yet, you have until May 29th!

I'm looking for a farm worker for this year. PM or call if interested. You would mostly be harvesting, washing and packing.

-picking flowers
-very little hand w**ding
-you will be picking green beans a lot
-stocking tomato stand
-general clean up
-transplanting
-w**d whacking
-unclogging sprinklers
-possible pruning

I'm also an arborist. I would like to rope you into this as well if you are interested.

Before being self employed I always passed up every job posting that didn't list a wage, but I get it now.

Pay is $15-$40 based on experience, efficiency, knowledge, fitness, and resources.
