SK Herefords Premium Beef We are a family farm located in Medina, NY that raises Hereford cattle. Our operation consists of approximately 800 acres of pasture and row crop.

We are the home of SK HEREFORDS PREMIUM BEEF-Buy at East Aurora Farmer's Market, North Tonawanda Farmer's Market, and South Buffalo Farmers Market We calve nearly 230 females every spring and breed over 250 head each summer. With cows, bulls, and feeder cattle we will carry over 400 head through the winter. We handle all these cattle and put up 80% of the feed they use with labor from our family a

nd some part time help. Our beef is raised naturally here in Orleans County, N.Y. All cattle raised for beef are source verified from our farm. We do not buy and sell from anywhere else. Each head of cattle is identified at birth and data tracked until slaughter. SK Herefords cattle are grass and natural forage fed until finishing, and only natural feeds are used on the farm. All beef at processing is USDA inspected, dry aged, then cut, wrapped and frozen to ensure optimum beef quality. SK Herefords beef is naturally tender and juicy due to the marbling occurring in the beef. Marbling ensures that during the cooking process, the fat cooks out and leaves the juices in the meat for tenderness. If there is no marbling, the juices cook out for a tougher piece of beef.
