Apparently you can’t send Tony and Lincoln to an auction and expect them to come home empty-handed. 😂

Last Saturday, they headed over to help the Knights at St. John with breakfast during an auction. The turnout was a little lower than expected, so they weren’t really needed…and you can probably guess what happened next.

They started walking around the auction. 👀

When they got home, Lincoln spotted an old hammer head buried in a wooden box of tools. Then Tony found the handle that went with it, so Lincoln is now the proud owner of a new-to-him old hammer. 🔨

And because apparently one treasure wasn’t enough, Lincoln also found with a rather large old wrench in this box.

What is he going to do with it?

Excellent question. 😂

But around here, I’ve learned there’s apparently no such thing as having too many old tools.

Now we need the tool experts—do you see anything else in this box that we should know about? 👀

🍂 Fall is starting to show up at the Lecher Farms flower wagon! 🍂

The wagon is stocked with beautiful $9 mums in:
💜 Pink/Purple
🧡 Orange
💛 Yellow
❤️ Red

And we’re just getting started! As the season continues, we’re hoping to add pumpkins in all different sizes and colors along perfect for decorating your porch or putting together a fall display. 🎃🌾

Stop by the flower wagon and grab your mums while your favorite colors are available. Fall might not officially be here yet, but we’re definitely ready for it! 🍁

There will always be another job to do, another project waiting, and something that didn’t get crossed off the list.

Sometimes you just have to look up, enjoy the view, and call it a day. 🌅🌾

The work will still be there tomorrow.

🌸 Well… this dahlia apparently couldn’t decide what it wanted to be.

Half of the bloom came out a beautiful mix of colors, while the other half is almost perfectly one solid color right down the middle. 😍

One of my favorite parts of growing flowers is finding little surprises like this hiding in the garden. You can plant, water, w**d, and plan all you want… and then Mother Nature decides to make something completely her own.

I think this one deserves to be shown off. 💐

That’s officially a wrap on sweet corn for this year as we are SOLD OUT! John wants to thank everyone who stopped in for corn this season. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting so many new ones along the way.

Whether you grabbed a few ears for supper or stocked up for the freezer, we truly appreciate your support!

Mother Nature definitely gave us a run for our money this year, so John says we’re all hoping she’s a little nicer to us next summer. 😂🌽

Thank you for another sweet corn season, and we’ll see you next year!
