We will be having gyro salads TOMORROW!!! Romaine lettuce, Greek olives, cherry tomato, onion, Persian cucumber and feta cheese topped with grilled gyro! Comes with our yummy vinaigrette and taziki sauce! Let me know if you would like one! Will be delivering in time for lunch!

Went and picked olives today! We will be taking a field trip to the oil press soon! bringing home fresh olive oil to use. Selma was the olive princess 👸🏻 definitely a fun first time experience. Also!

Happy Friday! Little progress on the mint! The sun is out but it’s getting cooler here! I mean it’s the Middle East I get that, but I miss the cold and rain lol.
been another busy week making and learning lots of new things! Learned to make lentil soup! I love soups! This morning we made a homemade bread with za’atar and cheese!

Happy Monday!!! Been a busy day here in the kitchen! Learning and perfecting some recipes. This is Thani salad. Tonight it will pair with a traditional dish called Maqluba! Hopefully Maqluba will eventually be on the menu! 😉 We will be using this salad on the falafel sandwiches. Second pic we have the fresh mint that we are taking from the root. We will sun dry and grind it up to bring home.
All of the spices we will be using are coming from Jordan! Last pic the Maqluba (meaning upside down) they will flip the pan on the tray. Haha I’m not a professional flipper 😅 but I did make this on my own today

So those who are familiar with and have tried Arabic food, what did you try? Did you like it? Those that have not tried Arabic food, what do you look forward to trying? My personal favorite is the Falafel sandwich. Falafel is made from ground chic peas, mixed with some spices and deep fried! The sandwich will come on a flat pita with a base of hummus topped with tomato cucumber mixture Arabic style pickles and Tahini sauce! This is a falafel sandwich here in Jordan!

Hey Everyone! Y’all be patient with me as I try and navigate this business page lol. So In December my husband Rami and I will be moving home to Batesville and we plan to bring a taste of Jordan with us. It’s been his dream to bring Arabic food to Batesville seeing as how that’s just not an option there. I’ve created this page to get the word out and I’ll be updating here with projected open/start dates. Again I’m learning to navigate a business page so you’ll just bear with me!
