Pamlico Pecans Pamlico Pecans is your local source for orchard fresh pecans and custom shelling services. Our pecan halves are fresh, firm, and crisp.

Welcome to Pamlico Pecans…your local source for orchard fresh in-shell and shelled pecans and custom shelling services. There’s nothing like fresh Pamlico Pecans for holiday baking and gift-giving. The Rest of the Story…
The Pamlico River meanders through central Beaufort County, flowing gracefully among historic towns, family farms, Colonial architecture and tall long leaf pines. It was in 1909 that Beuron Roper began farming pecans just a mile off the banks of this famous river. Throughout the years, selling pecans straight from the orchard has been a family tradition. And true to its beginnings, Pamlico Pecans is committed to providing orchard fresh, locally sourced, southern grown pecans. They make a wonderful snack at home or in the office. They’re completely natural too...no salt, sugar or flavoring of any kind has been added. Our halves are perfect for your holiday baking or gift-giving.

Good news for everyone, especially pecan trees.

Atlantic goes without a hurricane through Sept. 21, breaking 112-year record. The Atlantic has never gone this late without a hurricane since modern satellite tracking began in 1966.

NATIONAL CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE DAY
On August 20, National Chocolate Pecan Pie Day lets you have your chocolate and pie, too! In case you forgot, National Pecan Pie Day is observed each year on July 12 if chocolate isn't your flavor, but we don't know anyone like that.)

Just like the original, chocolate pecan pie goes well with ice cream. Another southern delight, this treat features crisp pecans. Pecan pies fall under the sugar pie category which gives them a gooey, almost caramel center. Depending on the recipe, different sugars make the sweet batter for the pie. Both brown and white sugars can be used, but so can molasses. Corn syrup is a common ingredient as well. Even honey is used.
