After significant contemplation, and a thorough analysis of the costs of production, we want to be upfront with you about a change we're making in the pricing of our pastured eggs.

Starting this spring, our pastured eggs will be $12 per dozen. If you pick up from the farm, they're $11.

Here's why:

Feed costs have gone up, production costs have gone up, and bird costs have gone up. We sat down, went line by line through every expense and every potential alteration, and the math came back with two options: cut corners to keep the price low, or keep growing and raising chickens the way we believe they should be raised.

We decided that we want to continue raising and growing these chickens and their eggs to the same standard, and we are not cutting costs.

These hens are fed only 100% certified organic feed. No antibiotics, no hormones, no synthetic anything. They graze on the alluvial floodplains of the Mississippi River, land that has had centuries a country's worth of nutrients and minerals deposited onto it. They're moved to fresh grass daily. The bugs and grubs they eat have never been exposed to pesticides or herbicides. This is a nutritional superfood, and we don't use that word lightly. We've spent our entire careers studying human health and wellness. There's a reason HHS Secretary RFK Jr. just put eggs at the top of the new American food pyramid and declared, "Eat real food - nothing matters more."

The market is flooded with eggs that can hit a lower price point. That's not what we do. We didn't start this to compete on price. We started this to raise something we'd feed our own kids, and that's exactly what we do every single morning.

We deliver a premium product to you every week, grown to a specific standard, and we're going to continue to do that. Feedback from the families we serve tells us we're doing this the right way.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you and your family. It means everything to our farm and our family.

When you buy ranch-direct beef, the price is based on hanging weight — the carcass before it’s cut and wrapped. But your take-home weight is the packaged beef that fills your freezer. Here’s what that actually looks like 👇🏽

🧮 Example (Average 750 lb hanging weight — every animal varies at harvest)
• Hanging weight price: $5.75/lb
• Processing: $1.25/lb
• Kill fee: $100
➡️ Total cost: $5,350.00

After processing, you typically keep about 60–65% of that hanging weight, depending on how it’s cut (bone-in vs. boneless, grind percentage, etc.).

From 750 lb hanging weight, you’ll take home roughly 465 lb of packaged beef.

Real Cost:
$5,350 ÷ 465 lb = $11.51/lb take-home

That means your family is enjoying premium, USDA-processed, custom-cut, freezer-ready beef — including ribeyes, T-bones, sirloins, roasts, brisket, and ground beef — for about $11–$12 per pound total.
