We’ve gained a lot of new friends around here, so we thought it was time to reintroduce ourselves! 👋
This is our owner, Chef Anne Milneck.
A proud graduate of the John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University, Anne has spent the past 13 years building Red Stick Spice into more than just a spice shop. With more than 600 cooking classes along the way, she’s created a culinary destination with one person in mind: the home cook. 💛
It’s a place where people can learn, gather and fall in love with cooking all over again.
And Anne’s passion for teaching extends beyond Red Stick Spice. She has returned to her alma mater as an instructor at the John Folse Culinary Institute, where she teaches Spices in the Professional Kitchen to the next generation of culinary professionals. From student to instructor, she brings real-world experience and the same passion for sharing what she knows.
