The Bicycle Brew Club of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a Mid-City homebrew club formed in January 2012. Beer makes everything a little more interesting).

The Bicycle Brew Club of Baton Rouge, Louisiana formed in January 2012. We organized to provide a venue for Mid-City home brewers to talk about brewing, technique, styles, and beer in general. If you've been brewing for a while, haven't brewed before but want to learn more, are already a member of another club, or just want to chat about beer, no worries, all are welcome. We meet regularly and app

reciate everyone's take on our favorite subject, beer (and of course LSU, the Saints, bikes, food, fiscal policy, Keynesian economics, astrobiology, Napoleonic code, Cartesian planes, archival science, or pretty much whatever. Unlike most brew clubs, the BBC likes to change up our location to enjoy differing atmospheres and beer selections. But, our usually rotation includes The Pelican House - located at 2572 Citiplace Ct, The Bulldog - located at 4385 Perkins Rd, and The Chimes - located at 3357 Highland Rd in Baton Rouge. Check our club calendar at www.bicyclebrewclub.com or facebook posts for the upcoming meeting spot. The Bicycle Brew Club is also a supporter of safe consumption, hence the bicycle. We want everyone to take care in traveling to and from our meetings, which is why we meet in Mid-City, so most of our local members can ride or walk. Hey local brewers,
It's brew club week, a bottle share at Tre's this Thursday, 7.23, after 7:30pm.
Sorry for the delayed meeting reminder. Tropical Storm Bertha was a curve ball for our annual, poolside brew club meeting at Tre's. But the forecast is trending clear for BR tomorrow night. Please bring some brews and munchies to share. Also, a swimsuit and towel.

Hey local brewers,
It's time for the next Bicycle Brew Club meeting, 8pm this Thursday, June 25th, at Mid City Beer Garden on Government Street. Our meeting day overlaps with the last USA World Cup group match (starting vs Türkiye). For the game, MCBR is offering $1 off pints (55 taps) and $5 off of wings.

I'll be getting there early, by 7pm, to grab us some space ahead of time. There are some early matches on Thursday, if you're following the tournament and want to join.

Let's plan to handle our business early, like setting a definitive date for the Cypress mini~comp, so we can zone out and get into the game vibe. Türkiye are last in the group, so we ought to see a free flowing game and goals.

Hey local brewers,
It's time for the next meeting of the Bicycle Brew Club, 7:00pm this Thursday, February 26th, at Cypress Coast Brewing Company (5643 Government St). Thursday is trivia night at Cypress, which starts at 6:30pm. I'll get there early to grab a table for us and signup the club to play - anyone is welcome to show early and join me if you want. Roux BBQ will be cooking food out front, but you can bring in your own snack or takeaway - Anthony's is just a couple of doors down, check their hours ahead.

At this meeting, we will debrief on this year's 14th Annual Brew Off and look ahead to the Zapp's Beer Fest, which has been rescheduled from March to the first Saturday in May (2nd), the same day as the Kentucky Derby.

Happy holidays and be welcomed to this month’s Bicycle Brew Club meeting, a bottle share at 7:30pm this Thursday, December 18th, at Juliet’s, address below.

We’ll be planning for our 14th Anniversary Feast and Club Brew Off, scheduled for Saturday, January 31st, at our usual spot. We’ll address things like any voting change suggestions, beer games, malt/hops availability, and the raffle.

It's time for the next Bicycle Brew Club meeting, a bottle share from 7:30pm this Thursday, October 23rd at Casa Gus - DM for address. Please bring along some beer to share and try, as well as a snack or dish to gnaw on.

We've got Cap City Beer Fest coming up! If you haven't registered already, it may be too late. But no matter, come to Club anyway, help us make plans for that and for our club's Tour de Brew, if we're extending it another year.

Bicycle Brew Club: Meeting Thursday, September 18th, 7:30pm bottle share at Gus’s.

We’ve got a few things on the horizon, but nothing more than Friday after next’s Brew at the Zoo. We’ll be getting our game plan in order and looking down the road at Cap City, as well.
Congrats to Greg! who recently took 3rd place with his American Pale Ale.
