More great news! Rouses Markets is expanding us to 70 total stores and putting us on the shelf starting middle of the month! We'll be doing our best to visit as many as possible to hold tasting events so you can try these out.

The amount of opportunities coming our way the past few weeks is almost overwhelming! We got to pitch and land a Kroger's account, stay tuned to see where and when we're landing there! At the Sweets & Snacks Expo last week we had so many industry people telling us, "You really got something there!" Just to name a few we spoke to Target, Walmart, 7-11, and Cinemark. We also had tons of companies ask to be part of their subscription boxes or added to their snack export.

We also get to be part of the Louisiana Pavilion at the 250th National Fair in DC over Independence Day handing out samples and meeting people from all over the globe during their "Healthy Louisiana" Day. Big thank you to Certified Louisiana for helping make that happen!

I appreciate all of you being part of this journey with us. Keep following as we plan to release (or at least reveal) a very special project in the next month that's been in the works!

We made it to Vegas for Sweets & Snacks Expo! The next week will be an exciting chapter in our journey, we'll try to keep everyone updated as much as possible. Already had a meeting with Kroger and have another set up with Target! Doing our best to represent Certified Louisiana for the global stage.

Finally the news we've all been waiting for! Check out the link to see if your Rouses Markets location made the first cut! If not please request them to be carried at the store nearest you. We can't thank everyone enough for their support with this endeavor, and this is only the beginning! This month is packed with "next steps" for us. Stay tuned for many more updates on demo days, new collaborations, and expansion possibilities.

We would love to get everyone's opinion on this topic:

If a company claims their protein bars are "Junk Free" and you see this ingredient list how would you feel? Do these look like "simple ingredients" as they advertise?

Dr. Seitan's will never claim anything other than we taste great and are high in protein. We preach the value of eating whole foods first, and snack when your schedule needs it. We're so proud of our ingredient list we debated on putting it on the front of the package.

As a side note we're perfectly fine with this, it probably does taste just like a candy bar. Please stop trying to deceive consumers with your misleading claims though.
