We at GPWI have much for which to be thankful this year, including the addition of Kaki Lowe aka "the Queen of Desserts" who crushed Holy Smoke with her Pumpkin Espresso Gooey Butter Cake topped with vanilla ice cream, homemade salted caramel drizzle and applewood smoked salt! It was an instant Fall Classic! What kind of desserts are you making for family and friends this week??

Service: it's what we are called to do. Proud of ALL of our Piggy members, our Holy Smoke brethren, fellow parishioners and awesome volunteers from SJA and CHS who helped to make the food booth at the Fair possible; many of whom committed to serving all day, every day, of the fair.

Tip of the cap to Piggy members Druit Gremillion, who served as Fair food chair, Food chair emeritus Brad Hutchinson, and Howard Sadler, who took on the new challenge of grilling more than 1,000 burgers.

The food tent is a big lift, and we love to be a part of it; but we are also looking for MORE VOLUNTEERS for next year.

No special skills required; just a big smile for your fellow parishioners, a willingness to help out for a couple of hours, and, maybe, sing along to some 90s Country. We'll teach you the rest and would love to have more parishioners and school parents join us.
