There’s something pretty special about watching a heifer grow into a beautiful mama cow. We don’t typically play favorites, but this one is special ❤️🐄

You watch her grow from a young heifer, learn the ropes, have her first calf, and before you know it, she’s become one of those dependable cows you’re proud to have in your herd.

Year after year, she raises another beautiful calf — passing along her good genetics, strong maternal instincts, and beautiful disposition.

That’s what makes raising cattle so rewarding. It’s not just about the cattle you have today… it’s about building a herd for tomorrow. 🌱🐂

The weather has been a little difficult lately but we finally got the silage chopped to feed cattle this winter.
Thanks to our crew who helped get the job done. As farmers relying on something we cannot control, like Mother Nature to do our job is one of the hardest things we do and biggest stressors. We pray for rain, then we pray for the sunshine but mostly we pray everyone stays safe, it all works out and Mother Nature allows us to do our job 🌧️ 🙏 ☀️ 🌽

What a wild and memorable weekend 🤎
We started off Made + Found Midwest Market then hustled to watch the Rams and Cade break a few records, caughtTuckers football game, watched Cade get crowned King of the Corn at Danbury Corn Days, watched Taytum play volleyball and ended it with a Packers win 😉 While not forgetting the most important thing we did was Sunday morning attending church as a family! I’m not sure we could have squeezed anything more in. We are all extremely blessed and thankful for all of the help, and for all who stopped by and seen us this weekend and we are sorry if we missed you!
