TUBER SALE INCOMING!

We’re excited to announce that our 2026 DAHLIA TUBER SALE will go live on our website TOMORROW, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2026 at 8:00am PACIFIC TIME! Our website is 99% up to date with varieties (though we may sneak in a few more surprises!) so take a peek and make your wishlist!
The website will go down overnight so that we can load inventory before the sale. When the sale opens at 8:00AM, no password will be required to shop! Just keep refreshing the page until it goes live and you’re golden!
We will be offering combined shipping again this year as always! Use code COMBINE2026 to get shipping off of your 2nd+ orders.
Finally, the small print—please read our store policies on the site and let us know if you have any questions! (Though nothing has changed!)

And finally, I just want to thank you for your love and support of our family farm. Every message of support and excitement, and every purchase of our dahlia tubers means the world. We’re just as excited as ever to send our dahlias to your gardens! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Cheers to choosing joy, beauty and a connection to nature and each other. See you tomorrow!!!

Davina Michelle
One of my favorite new-to-me varieties of the 2025 season! I picked her up in a trade and found myself drawn to the dramatic, moody colors and long strong stems over and over again. Just divided and packed away some great looking tubers and I can’t wait to see her again this year. What variety did you grow for the first time last year and can’t wait to see again?!

Happy Winter Solstice! It’s been a minute but I wanted to wish you a happy solstice and share all the wintery things happening on the farm. Things like washing tuber clumps in the rain, stomping in the mud all around the farm, dividing tubers in our new dividing room, and trying to find time to pack them away in between everything else 😂 Always lots of things on the to-do list.

I know folks are starting to have tuber sales on the brain from the number of emails and DMs I’ve been getting! Yes, we will be having a tuber sale this winter/spring, sale date TBD. We are behind in dividing tubers compared to where we hoped to be this month, but all for good reasons. We’ll get caught up after the holidays and announce our sale date in January.

I did a quick browse of recent photos to pick a dahlia to post and it fitting that the last one I photographed this season is “wintery” looking. This is RM Hannah Joe and I think it’s worth adding to your list!

I hope you’re staying cozy on the longest night of the year and cheers to longer days ahead ♥️

Dahlia “Ankara”

This pretty little waterlily has been going bananas in my “new varieties” row and I finally had to just stop everything and photograph her! Super cute small waterlily around 3” in diameter, a great light pink with a touch of yellow at the center. The petals fade towards the tips which gives it a sense of glowing in the sunset. And super prolific! This plant is smothered in buds on long, slender but strong stems. I’m loving this one!

That one time that someone vandalized the dahlia field. 😭

Tonight we were walking the field and I remembered that I needed to check some plants in the burgundy row, furthest out next to the main road. When I rounded the corner, I found that quite a few plants had been chopped off. At first I thought, maybe deer…? But no, the closer I looked I could tell that someone had cut them. In three different spots, all in the same row along the road. It’s like someone pulled over, scrambled up the berm, and cut them with probably a pocket knife or a pair of scissors. The cuts are all even, though not cleanly cut and definitely not cut like we would typically harvest flowers.

I feel super violated. I feel really sad. This is the first time that someone has so obviously come onto our property and stolen from us. These plants are now set back a month, maybe longer. Months worth of work, taken out from under us. But mostly, it just makes me really sad that someone would do this.

If you ever want flowers, send a message. Pull in the driveway. Times are hard, I get it. I’d be happy to get flowers into the hands of those who need them. But don’t come and STEAL them. We work too hard for you to come and take what isn’t yours. People are just really horrible sometimes.

Sorry for the bummer post when we should be posting pretty dahlias. Just thought this deserved a spot in the grid to remind us all that flower farming has ugly parts too.

Rossendale Donald ✨

This is a new-to-me variety this year—loving it. The form is really lovely, it has a very slight green center in this photo but it should close up as it produces more stems. The color is lovely for a red. This color is always hard to photograph, but just trust me that it’s definitely a keeper! Thankful for a dahlia friend adding this one to the list! 🤗

Bloomquist Cream ✨
In true mid-August fashion, blooms are really starting to come on and I’m doing my best to photograph all of the new varieties (and all the ones that weren’t quite so photogenic last season!)—this is Bloomquist Cream, and she’s a beauty!

Milena Fleur ✨

If you want to grow a dahlia that looks like it’s been dipped in pixie dust, this is your girl! The shimmer on these petals is the best I’ve ever seen. 😍
