✨ Miracle Monday ✨

Milking Miracle… on a Monday! 🐐🥛

I’m absolutely IN LOVE with this handsome silver buck! 🩶🥰

Itrek Acres Lil Boy Blue

Blue is the biggest sweetheart and such a teddy bear. Not to mention, he’s soooo soft and fluffy!

He’s officially covered all the ladies on his breeding list and now the waiting game begins!

We’re crossing our fingers for lots of beautiful little silver babies with personalities as big as his bouncing around next spring!🤞🏻

Whelp! 😭

High winds and some pretty powerful gusts took down TWO trees in our buck pen!

Miraculously, one tree landed against a neighbor’s tree, while the other managed to line itself up perfectly on top of a T-post! Talk about a lucky landing! 😳

Thank goodness the buck fence survived without being taken out!

Now comes the fun part… cleaning up the mess! 🪚🌲

Never a dull moment on the farm! 🐐

✨ Miracle Monday ✨

It’s that time of year in the PNW when the daylight hours grow shorter, the air turns crisp and cool, and fall sets the perfect romantic mood for breeding season! 🍂

Miracle has found herself a handsome young lad with a gorgeous, full beard and some pretty flashy moonspots!

There’s been a little flirting, some batting of those beautiful eyes, wagging of the tail, and maybe even a stolen blubbering kiss or two!

But don’t let those sweet looks fool you… Miracle knows exactly how to keep the boys on their toes!

Such a tease Miracle! 💋

HE’S HERE!!

Itrek Acres LIL BOY BLUE

We are SO excited to team up with Itrek Acres Nigerian Dwarf Goats and start working toward improving silvers! 🩶 (I promise there’s a silver buck under all that yellow hair!!) 😂🤢

Silver has always been one of my favorite colors, but I’ve also recognized the need to strengthen the traits that matter most in a productive dairy goat. Blue stood out as an opportunity to pursue both: beautiful silver color paired with the structural correctness and width we want to build on.

From the moment I saw him, his general appearance caught my attention. He has correct, square legs, sooooo much width, a level topline, and a wide, flat rump. Qualities that make him an exciting addition to our breeding program. And those blue eyes were just the icing on the cake! 💙

Blue has been paired with several of our girls, including:
🩶 GCH Hanson Hideaway AAI Moonstruck 5*M VEEE 90 (daughter of the 2023 National Champion & Best Udder)
🩶 GCH Hansons Hideaway Farm AlmndJoy 2*M VEEE 90
🩶 2xGCH Hanson Hideaway Violet Crumble 4*M EEEV 90 (littermate sister to the 2023 National Champion & Best Udder)

We can’t wait to see how these pairings combine Blue’s color and structure with the strengths of our does as we work towards a more competitive, productive silver goat.

Kidding season can’t come soon enough!! 🩶🐐
