Tomorrow is the last day at battle Ground farmers market. It is exciting to see some free time in the future. Come visit us and remember that just because the markets stopped, doesn't mean our crops stopped growing. Let us know if you want something.

I think this is a transitional week at market (Salmon Creek today). We have just a few peas left and not much electric salad, it is getting a bit warm for those crops. BUT, we have loads of carrots, onions, two types of potatoes, three colors of beans, collard greens, kale, and basil. Come check out the market!

Visit us at the battle ground market today. We have awesome onions today as well as greens, electric salad, zucchini, and rainbow carrots. In addition to our typical edible flowers, today we harvested zucchini blossoms as well. Go visit my wife and tell her hi for me

Things are going well at Five Sprouts! The Salmon Creek Farmer's market has started, and we'll be there every THursday (3-7 pm) through mid-September. This week, look for more of our amazing collards and kale, plus green, purple and yellow beans; zucchini; and rainbow carrots. We'll also have a few varieties of head lettuce and our ever popular Electric Salad.

See you at the market!

Tomorrow at the Battle Ground Farmers Market we will have the usual greens (electric salad, mustards, kale, collards, chard, etc.). As well as some new crops just coming in. We picked our first beans of the year, they come in green, purple and yellow (wax). We harvested loads of broccoli and some more cabbage. We even got some new purple broccoli that we are excited about. And the peas at this time of year taste better than ever. Come visit us!

The season is changing. Come to market tomorrow and see what is new. We will have some broccoli, cabbage, and beets as they are starting to come into season. We also still have many of the greens like mustards, kale, chard, spinach, and lettuce. We will also have our electric salad with a variety of edible flowers, and some head lettuce grown by Spencer. Oh, and we will have peas. In fact I am supposed to be harvesting peas right now, but I'm waiting for it to cool down a bit.

I often see honey venders selling blackberry or lavender honey because that was the crop the bees primarily got the pollen from. Today I noticed that my bees were primarily working the mustard greens and arugula. I wonder what that will do to the taste of the honey.
