Andersen Dairy, Inc. Family-owned & operated since 1966! Andersen Dairy serves Washington & Oregon with quality milk, cream and water. area.

In August of 1966, Ronald Andersen and his brother, Gordon, decided to start a milk production venture. In order to find a market, they decided to process and distribute their own milk. They started processing in Vancouver, Washington, but soon outgrew the facilities. Ron decided to stay with the milk plant and Gordon continued to produce milk on the farm. In August 1967, Ron purchased the Clark County Dairymen's plant and equipment in Battle Ground, Washington. He acquired three stores in the Vancouver area and started one inside the Andersen Dairy Plant, which is still open today. He started packaging in glass bottles, later converting to paper containers, and then to plastic bottles. Ron started his first plastic blow-molding in 1980. Today, he has three blow-molding locations in the Battle Ground & Brush Prairie, Wash. At our Battle Ground Dairy Plant facility, fresh milk is delivered daily & processed into pasteurized and homogenized milk varieties. After processing, it is bottled into our half-gallon and gallon plastic milk bottles, labeled, and then shipped to our many retail locations. You can find our milk at our local store and many WinCo Foods locations throughout Washington and Oregon. Here at Andersen Dairy and Andersen Plastics, we are involved in every step of the process; from the plastic beads the bottles are formed with all the way to the delicious milk and juice products found on your local store shelves. We have a 1 new position available for a Class A driver with Thursday, Friday and Saturday off and 1 position with weekdays off.

Full job description

$30 per hour: must have a minimum 1 year of recent work history backing in 53' trailers.

New Driver: Pay scale depends on level of training, as follows

$26 to start, while training in the yard backing in trailers
$27 once training on routes with a driver
$28 once driving alone
$29 once driving alone for 6 months
$30 once driving alone for one year
Shift: 4am-done, Days off will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This is the first time we have had a position with weekend days off in a long time.

Job Summary:

Responsible for driving truck to transport milk to commercial establishments and delivering exceptional customer service. Operates tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods of time, over long distances between company and customer facilities, in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

· Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the secure and safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle (CMV)

· Confirm manifests, bills of lading and other shipping documents to determine the correct product, location and time of delivery

· Conduct regulatory pre-trip and post-trip inspections including oil, fuel, and water in truck daily

· Hook up trailer safely and securely

· Provide exceptional customer service to all customers

· Ensure all paperwork has been completed accurately and completely

· All DOT regulations and road safety

· Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area

· Check load docks and pick up pallets and carts remaining

· Perform safety inspections when pulling in and out of docks

Physical Demands / Working Conditions:

· Lifting 50lbs frequently

· Push/Pull 880lbs on wheels, 35lbs of force

· Must be reliable and available to work extra hours and/or overtime as needed and be available to flex hours.

· Frequent pulling, pushing and carrying

· Subject to walking, standing, stooping, bending and repetitive motions using hands

· Company provides personal protection equipment (PPE))

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

· Must possess CDL-A

· Customer service capabilities

· Meet driver grading criteria to be approved by insurance

Requirements:

· Pre-employment drug screen

· DOT Physical exam/current medical clearance

· Background check

· Work authorization

· ClearingHouse NOT prohibited

Hello Community! We are hiring!
We are looking for a Class A driver with at Minimum 1 year driving experience.
Pay rate is $30 per hour.
Shift is 4am to done, will vary while training. Days off will be the same each week but will not be weekends. All schedules are 4 days on, 3 off. This is non negotiable.
We offer M/D/V/L for $150/mo for employee only.
We also offer Vacation after 1 year, WA state sick leave after 90 days and an Employee Savings Program.
