This week has been busy with everything from making home made gluten free pizza (it was delicious as can be evident by the empty pan😁), foraging wild yarrow to be used for infusing oil (a necessary ingredient in our amazing "Gideons Salve"), checking on the pumpkins growth rate and of course, taking time to relax in the shade 😎

I will admit... I am not a "morning person". I have always been more clear headed and enthusiastic for life when I can wake up slowly around mid-morning and become more creative and productive in the evening hours.
This pattern is, of course, NOT conducive for the growers passion in my soul so I work to find a balance in life.
This morning, I was awakened naturally at approximately the "backside of dawn" and found amazing moments as the fog still covered the field, like a blanket of comfort to life within its bed.
I don't know why I was awake, but I am grateful to experience such beauty 😊❤️

The Grands pumpkin patch finally has its "anti-deer suggestion perimeter" up 😊
We all know that deer are funny and often mischievously annoying so when the budget is $0 for fencing, you get creative with a bundle of twine and poles from your forest 😁
