What we mean by ‘From tide to tin’. 🌊
Tide to tin isn’t just a phrase we throw around. It starts in the water, where our shellfish are grown from seed, carefully tended through every tide, every season and grown with purpose. From there, it’s a short trip to our own processing facilities, where each piece is handled with intention and care. It’s not passed off, not outsourced, not rushed.
We clean it, sort it, and move it straight into our smokehouse. That’s where the magic happens! Slow smoked, small batches, real attention to keeping our product high quality. Then it’s hand-packed and sealed up, right here by our team, before heading out into the world.
No middlemen. No mystery. Just a straight line from the tide flats to the tin in your hand.
