Day 2: Black Maple Hill Lunch
Day 2 started with the BBR family doing some expensive s**t, courtesy of Pablo, at Yebo Beach Haus.
If you’ve never been to Yebo, I highly recommend it. Beautiful space, great cocktails, and excellent food. My favorite dish was the blackened salmon. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly the way salmon should be.
After lunch, Pablo led us through a Black Maple Hill tasting. Beyond the whiskey itself, what I enjoyed most was hearing the story behind the label—where it came from, how it evolved over the years, and Pablo’s vision for its future.

Every pour was impressive, but the 15 Year Single Barrel was my winner.
Overall, it was a great start to Day 2—great food, great pours, and great conversation.
