It’s a time for celebration at the Judd Hill Farmers' Market. Tomorrow morning the market is recognizing 20 years of allowing local vendors to provide quality products to our community. I will be there with Sunflowers, zinnias, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, okra, peppers (bell, banana, No-heat jalapeno, jalapeno, Serrano,etc.) eggplant ( regular and fairy tale), LOTS of cherry tomatoes, some green and small red tomatoes. No blackberries from me tomorrow. Sales start at 8. Come early and see all the activities for the kids.

Going to be interesting at the Judd Hill Farmers' Market tomorrow. I will have flowers, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, okra, blackberries, cherry tomatoes and yes even a few Red tomatoes (from Gumbo Farms). Johnny has been a regular vendor for years but is experiencing some health issues and is unable to make it to the market. Sales open at 11.

Would you LOOK 👀 at that! Yep, it’s already time for the Judd Hill Farmers' Market to be OPEN on Tuesday’s (today).
Going to have Sunflowers, limited zinnias, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, blackberries, sunburst squash and a little more. Tomatoes are looking promising but need a little more sun before they start turning red, Pink, purple or yellow. Market opens at 11 today.

When it comes to my HOBBY of growing plants, I am kinda OCD about things. I keep records of #’s of plants, varieties, planting dates, planting schedules, fertilizers, spraying and more. I thought it would be interesting to see what the numbers looked like as of today (5/19/26). According to the computer, I have planted 4036 tomatoes (slicer and cherry), 1694 peppers (bell, banana, hot and no-heat jalapeño). 520 eggplant, 905 hills of squash, 735 hills zucchini, 1320 hills cucumbers. Does not include okra, peas, zinnias or sunflowers. Plant totals will increase weekly until I finish planting in September.

Another load of plants heading to the Judd Hiill farmers market tomorrow morning. Tomato , basil, peppers, eggplant, cannas and zinnia starter plants. Squash, zucchini, sunflower and more are still about a week away.
