Happening tonight!

Open House @ Bayard Grocery
305 Main Street, Bayard, Nebraska.
📌 Thursday, October 22 at 6pm

Join the seller of the property, several community members and myself for an opportunity to view the store and explore options for the property. This property offers an abundance of space with many options to house multiple retail vendors or market space. Hope to see you Thursday!

Come see us tomorrow night if you’re interested in the future of Bayard and have an interest in a business opportunity!

Bayard Tiger Paws Convenience Store stepping up to fill some needs for the town!

10/11/2026

We will be holding an open house / Q&A on Thursday October 22nd beginning at 6pm at the store where we will answer questions about anything you want to ask about the property, equipment, or business. If you are interested in purchasing the property (with or without the equipment), leasing the building, leasing a portion of the property, partnering with us on a future business, have any other interest in it, this session is for you. Not really looking for ideas without commitment and/or investment at this point, there are other groups doing that. This is our first step towards determining the future for the store and ourselves in Bayard. We are also willing to meet or talk privately.
Negative comments on this post will be deleted.
We will be there for at least 2 hours for anyone working late that night. Hope to see several of you there!

Still a good amount of items left! Lots of cereal, jelly, drinks, juices, HBA, and condiments especially, along with a scattered variety throughout the store. Open until 6 today, then closed forever!

Don’t forget, tomorrow is our last day! 50% off everything from 10-6

10/08/2026

Al’s will be open for the final time this Saturday, October 10th from 10-6. 50% off everything. I will post pictures or video later today of what’s left, still a lot of good deals to be had!

I am considering doing an “open house” style meeting on October 19th or 21st for anyone interested in the future of the store and/or building. This is for parties interested in buying / leasing / renting all or part of the property. Partnership proposals will also be considered. This is NOT for individuals expressing opinions on what they think someone ELSE should do, this will be for those willing and able to invest time, money, and energy into a business who want to explore their options.
Also willing to meet privately if someone prefers that.

Righ now it is looking like Saturday the 10th will be our next (and final) day of selling inventory. Hours are yet to be finalized, but may be 10-6. Everything will remain 50% off. I will update when I know for sure.
