Due to unforeseen circumstances CJ’s Processing is closed indefinitely. All slaughter appointments are canceled. We will be reaching out to customers who still have meat with us to pick up later in the week. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you to our customers for your patience, understanding and support.

We are working to make some business decisions on our next direction, whether to continue or sell. If anyone is interested in purchasing the business please reach out to Kate Sinner at 308-765-5984, again we apologize.

We have appointments available as soon as next week for beef and if we have enough interest we can do hogs this month really would like 10 hogs at a time. There is also availability for goats, and sheep give us a call to schedule thank you for all the support!

Good morning our awesome patient supporters. We wanted to up date you on a few things here at CJs. Firstly hours: Bayard location is open 8-5 M-W & F. Slaughter day is still Thursday and that is at Melbeta 8-5. Please call for your appointment today!!
Some dates available are March 21&28th would like to see some some smaller animals if possible I.e pigs, sheep, etc. April dates for all are the 4,11,&18th. Of course the rest of the year is still open as well.
Also a reminder of our Sat&Sun appointment only as we reserve those days for emergencies.

Just wanted to update you folks. Our slaughter facility is up and running, is located in Melbeta. As you know we took a bit to get back up and going, we now would like for you to reserve your spots now.

Happy New Year from CJ’s Processing. First and foremost we would like to thank our customers and the community of Bayard for the love and support we have been shown during one of the most difficult times a family can go through. I know that Casey truly loved being apart of this community and always looked forward to interacting with all of his customers. He is dearly missed. With that being said though we would like to let everyone know that we are going to attempt to reopen and will begin accepting appointments again starting this month. We also would ask that you bear with us as we navigate through trying to reopen and seeing where we stand on the business side of things. Casey was very passionate about this business and we do not want to see it go under if we can help it or would like to see it go to someone who will be just as passionate. To set up appointments or for any questions please call Adam at 308-279-2320. First appointment day for Slaughter will be January 11, 2024. Again we want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding during this very difficult time.

We will be having a crew down at CJ’s processing most of the day today finishing up some things. If anyone is interested in purchasing retail meat, please stop by today and get some so we can get it out the door . Current customers waiting for their processed beef, be on the lookout for us to call and let them know when their meat is ready for pick up. We want to Thank our customers and the community of Bayard for being patient with us during this difficult time.
