We’re closing up a little early tonight with the wind and storms rolling in.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by today! We’ll see all our flower-loving friends tomorrow when the greenhouse opens at 10:00 AM. 🌸

In the meantime, check out these beautiful dahlia cuttings. They were started just a few months ago and are growing beautifully.

This will be the last weekend they’re available for purchase before we plant the remaining stock out in the field next week. If you’ve been thinking about adding some dahlias to your garden, now’s the time! Tubers also available.

🌅💐 The First Bouquet of the Season 💐🌅

Just before sunset tonight, I picked the first bouquet of the season from the flower field for a neighbor’s birthday.

Nothing fancy. Just a single delphinium, a handful of beautiful red and white Sweet Williams, and a few wispy blooms gathered from around the field. But somehow those first flowers always feel a little extra special.

Happy Birthday to a wonderful neighbor. Thanks for giving this season’s first flowers a home. 🌸

Tilled the cover crop under on the dahlia field today 🌱

There’s a whole lot of hope about to be planted in this dirt over the next few days.

Truthfully… this summer is going to be hard for a lot of farmers around here. Dry conditions, warm weather, and so much uncertainty are already weighing heavy across the drought-stricken West.

So if you’ve got a little extra good energy to spare — send some rain dances, good vibes, and lots of prayers out across farm country. 🌧️🤍
