Antler Ridge Outfitting is owned and operated by licensed Colorado Outfitter Tom Kenner, a lifetime resident and hunter. Tom operates the business on his own farm as well as properties leased from other landowners and farmers in the surrounding area. The business is run with the sole intention of providing hunters with a great hunting experience while properly managing the game in the area insuring quality hunting for generations to come. Because Tom has grown up on a farm located in the center of the hunting area, he has a great deal of knowledge about the game in the area. He has had the privilege of observing the game for years in their natural environment throughout the entirety of the year rather than just the hunting seasons. It is his mission to accommodate you in anyway he can to provide you with an exciting big game hunt in Southwest Colorado. The hunts are semi-guided hunts on private land. The fact that the hunt is on private land provides many advantages including unpressured animals and controlled hunter and harvest numbers. The hunting properties vary from irrigated fields to sagebrush to wooded slopes. We have success rates on deer at close to 100% opportunity (meaning that every one who had a buck tag harvested a buck or at least had an opportunity at one) and 50% on elk! We welcome hunters of all types and ages from muzzle-loader to archery to rifle, from first time youth hunters to experts to physically disabled hunters. We strive to provide you with a pleasant experience that will make you want to keep returning. Hunters should book before the 1st of March if possible. The application deadline for hunting licenses in Colorado is the 1st of April. There are also opportunities to hunt black bear in the fall and spring turkey. The Merriams turkeys are plentiful in the area and provide an excellent spring time hunt to cure the hunting fever!
