Meet Bosc! These modest pears almost look matte in the shop, but add a little sunshine ☀️ and the glow golden. ✨

Bosc pears are often a chef favorite! They are the best variety for baking and poaching because their dense, firm flesh holds its shape and texture well when heated.

Stop by the orchard to check out all the unique varieties… including Moon Glow. 🌙 How fun are they?!?

Grab a bag and mix and match. We’re open daily from 9am to 5pm throughout the harvest season!

The grill is on! 🍎🔥🌭Stop by for lunch! We’ll have hot apple brats today starting around 11am. While supplies last!

We grill local apple brats over an open flame and let them slow cook in fresh pressed c***r. Then we serve em with our in-house apple butter mustard (or traditional ketchup, if you prefer), kettle chips, and a soda.

Can’t make it for lunch? Stop by and grab brats from the freezer to grill for dinner tonight. Take advantage of this last warm weekend of the season!!!! ☀️

We have SO MANY apples, pears, and local finds at our historic orchard shop! 🍎🍐✨ We’ve got a huge variety of quirky and fun varieties, as well as traditional apples like honeycrisp.

Enjoy our self-guided orchard tour, sip c***r under the gazebo, grab a family or friend photo, and have a snack. 🥾🍎📸

“Bad weather” doesn’t really exist in Bayfield. ☔️🌊☀️ The lake is such a powerful driving force; we can literally have three seasons in a single day. A rainy day can go from wet to sunny in a snap. There’s a beauty in the chaos it creates.

Come prepared for the weather shifts by bringing layers and an extra pair of shoes. Don’t let a rainy forecast change your weekend plans!

Bring on the flood of people! 💛🍁🍎 This week, the pollinators aren’t the only ones buzz-buzz-buzzing around. 🐝 We’ll be busy jarring our homemade apple butter, making caramel apples, and bottling a fresh batch of c***r.

Our apple picking schedule has been a bit delayed this year because of summer drought. ☀️ Our orchard manager wanders the trees, tests the different varieties of apples, and waits until the perfect moment to bring the fruit to the shop. 🍏🛍️

THIS is THE moment! 🍎✨🌊 Waves of handpicked apples will be picked, washed, sorted, and bagged this week along with the other normal tasks required for hosting guests this weekend. By Friday, we’ll be “officially” ready to welcome you!

If you’re in town early, stop by for a peek behind the scenes! We’re open daily from 9am—5pm. The calm before the storm has officially passed and it’s organized chaos here!

Come on over and see our amazing employees at work, see the apple sorting process, ask questions, tour the orchard and c***r house. And stop by the shop, it’s pre-prepped with local finds and tons of apples and pears already! 🍁🍎✨

Sending “lots of local love” to Bayfield baker, Donna and the Line N’ Dine food truck for sharing ahhh-mazing apple dumplings with caramel run sauce this past weekend at the orchard. We overheard multiple guests say they were the best dumpling they’d ever had. 🤤

The last few days, autumn has officially arrived in Bayfield! 🍁🍂☀️ The leaves are changing colors and we’re excited to celebrate Applefest with you up at the orchard this coming weekend!

Apples taste best from little local orchards! 💛🍎🍏 Stop by and enjoy being on “Lake Time” here at the Bayfield Apple Company—sip c***r in the ☀️ shade of the gazebo, enjoy a caramel apple as you walk the self-guided pollinator tour 🌼 with your pup, and wander our country store for favorite finds. Ask an orchard hand to snap a pic 📸 of your fam in front of the apple tree out front! 🍎

We currently have handpicked honey crisps, red free, mc intosh, and haralson apples in the shop. Coming soon: nova spy, cortland, and more.
