Farm Days 8/31/26

Harvested 284 lbs of fresh produce for the PRS Food Pantry, Ignacio & Allison food distributions.

Carrots, beets, onions, wax beans, potatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers - bell, poblano, jalapeno, banana; tomatoes - mixed, sungold cherry, chocolate sprinkles, clementine.

DATE CHANGE...the 9/7 farm ops meeting is changing to Aug. 31, TOMORROW, due to the Labor Day holiday.
Farm Operations Mtg Mon. Aug. 31 @ 12pm in the shed at the farm. Please bring a chair.

Farm Days 8/28/26

Harvested 191 lbs of fresh produce for seniors at the Bayfield Senior Center. Every Friday after lunch the seniors enjoy shopping for fresh produce from the farm.

Onions, red beets, carrots, radishes, squash, zucchinie, potatoes, Jalapeno peppers, Shish*to peppers, basil, parsley, cucumbers, bell peppers, arugula, tomatoes.

The next generation of chickens are growing so fast! They should start laying eggs in the next month or so. Such lovely ladies.....and handsome roosters! 🐔

Farm Days 8/24/26

Harvested 224 lbs of fresh produce for the PRS Food Pantry, & Ignacio & Allison food distribution days.
Onions, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, basil, arugula, Jalapeno peppers, Shish*to peppers, bell peppers, red beets, lettuce, & 73 lbs of tomatoes!!!

The farm is doing so well this year!!! We are harvesting >100 lbs of fresh produce twice a week. Once we clear a bed we plant more seeds. So much variety each week!

Harvested 135 lbs of fresh produce for the seniors at the Bayfield Senior Center.
Potatoes, squash, zucchini, red & yellow onions, leeks, bell peppers, cucumbers, shish*to peppers, parsley, chives, tomatoes - clementine, mixed, cherry, chocolate sprinkles.

WELCOME to our 3 new volunteers - Richard, Louise, & Nan. THANK YOU for jumping right in & helping with the harvest. We look forward to seeing you again on the farm.

Farm Days 8/17/26

Harvested 145 lbs of produce for the PRS Food Pantry & Ignacio & Allison distribution days.
Onion, beets, potatoes, lettuce, bell peppers, shish*to peppers, basil, & LOTS of tomatoes.

Look at how much our watermelons, squash & eggplants have grown!!! We have SO much produce thriving on the farm. Watch for different options at the various free food days!

Farm Days 8/14/26

Harvested 121 lbs of fresh produce for seniors at the Bayfield Senior Center.
Onions, basil, parsley, cucumbers, radishes, arugula, lettuce greens, potatoes, multiple varieties of tomatoes, carrots, squash, zucchini, bell peppers, shish*to peppers, Jalapeno peppers.

Monday & Friday mornings are spent harvesting for the different distribution locations. If time allows volunteers work on other tasks e.g. weeding, planting, etc. Once we clear a bed we quickly plant another product. We've been so busy with harvesting we added Wednesdays to allow us to complete other tasks. COME JOIN US!!! It is AMAZING to see how much is growing & thriving at the farm.

We're always experimenting on the farm to see what we can grow, grow well, & what the community wants. We're successful ...

We're always experimenting on the farm to see what we can grow, grow well, & what the community wants. We're successful so far with some new varieties of squash in a low tunnel. And look at our first watermelons growing in the East House in hydroponics!!!🍉
