Okay I now have 2 FB accounts with this FB page. I struggle to keep up with 1 much less 2 so please don't judge that I haven't posted on here for a while. But I wanted to put a few updates on our Alpha Omega Bait Shop page to show how God works in the most unusual ways that you can't even make up if you wanted to, because my mind isn't this imaginative... Recently Stacy and I have been working a few events, in unusual locations, some may say, but God led us to them for a reason. Sometimes we never get the opportunity to know "Why" He leads us where He does but then there are those times that He gives us a glimpse of what He is doing because we wouldn't believe it if He were to tell us anyway.
While working an event for that is for over the age of 21 we had several people ask us ab out our company name Alpha Omega Bait Shop so of course that gives us the opportunity to share that it's not about us but about Him, He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, The Beginning and The End Revelations 22:13 They ask where we attend church and once again I am blessed to have the opportunity to tell them we attend Rollingbrook Fellowship in Baytown. A couple of weeks later we are invited back and one of the young men we had spoken to that night runs up to me when he sees me and says this "Hey Waffle lady I've been looking for you. I say Hey and I won't say his name but called him by name and he is surprised I remember his name. I tell him I've missed seeing him but we were invited back and he is so excited. He goes on to tell me he had been watching for me because he wanted me to know that he had accepted Christ into his heart and was baptized the week before and now attends church around there. I grab him and hug him and we pray together. I tell him that is the greatest gift I could have gotten was to hear that and he brings over another guy we had met a with him when we first came and I look at him and ask have you told him and motion to him and he says "Hey man I accepted Jesus into my heart and was baptized last week. He says no way bro I need to talk to you about that too, I need to find a church and they go off and start talking about it. " That night before the event I was asking God "What am I doing? I can't afford to do this. It isn't paying the bills and maybe I'm just crazy to think this is what You want me to do." That conversation wasn't as calm as that but through tears. He didn't give up on me but instead showed me a glimpse of what He is doing through of all things Texas Taiyakis. I just keep looking up going really God you want us to do what? You want us to cook what? Can this really be a ministry that can glorify You? Guess what? Yes It Can and Is? One person at a time. To God be the Glory! I will tell you about what happened the next night on my next post. I have to make sure that I don't tell everything at one time or there will be no reason for anyone to come back and read. But let me tell you we serve an Awesome God, Jesus Christ! And who knew that Stacy would be a better Texas Taiyaki Cook than I am but he IS!🥰😋
