Meet the herd: Alpaca edition!

Steve came to us on 10/3/2025 along with Eddie. They are 5 or 6 years old. They have been a very entertaining addition to the farm. Steve is the leader of the two and much like his name sake, he has fabulous hair! They are in training for the petting zoo since they didn’t have much experience with leading or being touched when we got them. They are not easy to catch but once they are, you can pet all over them! Fun fact: alpacas have claws!

Meet the pack: part four!

Ham (HCC Hammertime) is a registered 2 year old border collie. He also came from our friend Felesha. He has been a wonderful addition to the farm! Like a typical border collie, he can get laser focused but loves to be loved on! We have only had him a couple months but he fit in quickly! You will find him keeping everyone in check or playing with Boone while the fun police (Clem) keeps watch.

Meet the pack: take 3!

Boone hasn’t been with us very long! He was born 3/25/2026 and is a chocolate Heeler (he is a pure heeler, chocolate is a recessive color). He is super smart and quite the puppy! Excited to see him grow up on the farm!

Meet the pack: part two!

Raggie (Ragnar) is the second member of our pack. Born 4/9/2023 and probably winner for cutest puppy! He is our farm protector and the friendliest floof! He was bred by our friend Felesha.

Meet the pack:

Clem (Clementine) is the oldest of the pack. She was born 3/27/2019 and bred by my friend Ashton. Clem is a Texas Heeler. She came to the pack when we were living in WV so she is well traveled! She has had a lot of adventures! She is 100% Eli’s dog and loves him to death.

Meet the staff: cat edition part 2!

Betty is the BEST cat. She is really a dog trapped in a cat body. She is the farm supervisor and is never far. She will great you at the door in the morning and will walk you back to the house at night. She came to us with Skiddy in 2022. She had already had her four kittens when we got her. We still have Fergus and Rowena. True black cat energy, she is sweet and kind. I wish she would be a house cat but she prefers to be outside. She has gone on long walks with us and can be found in the bottom of the baby stroller. She is the best baby sitter. She is everyone’s favorite! Come out to the farm to meet her!

Meet the barn staff: cat edition!

Skiddy (Skidmark) was named by Eli for being white with two grey streaks on her head. Only a cat could have such a terrible name and it work. Skiddy came to us in 2022 along with Betty. Both were a year old and pregnant with their second litters. Betty had already given birth and Skiddy not that long after coming to us. Both got spayed as soon as they could. Skiddy spends most of her time fighting coyotes out in the woods and going on grand adventures. She passed on her friendly personality to all five of her kittens. Two of her kittens still live with us since they were born deaf. Most pure white cats are deaf or have vision problems. Luckily her two kittens just are deaf. We don’t have as many good pictures of Skiddy because she is usually off in the woods during the day. You might see her around the farm in the morning and during evening feeds.

Came out to celebrate Raegan! It was an amazing turn out and so happy we could celebrate her amazing win! More people need to support Special Olympics and the amazing people it represents. As always, Stormy was a super star!
