Our Story

Chapman Farm is a fourth-generation family farm founded by Orville Chapman in the mid-19th century, and is currently owned and operated by his great-great-grandson Claudius Edwin Chapman Jr. and his wife Carla Jean Carmona-Chapman. Chapman Farm is located in beautiful southern Fauquier County, Virginia, nearly equal distances from both the Stafford and Culpeper County lines. Originally founded as a dairy farm, Claudius Edwin Chapman converted the property to raise and sustain beef cattle in the 1970s, and his son has continued raising cattle to present day, while also expanding the farm to produce high quality hay for horses, goats, and sheep.

Our cattle are rotation grazed and grain-supplemented from our homegrown ear corn with added vitamins and minerals; they have access to clean well water. They are raised and handled responsibly, grown without sub-therapeutic antibiotics, hormones and steroids. Butchered by Blue Ridge Meats of Front Royal, Virginia, a USDA certified butcher. We rely on their expertise to dry age and vacuum pack our beef at the perfect time to ensure optimum flavor and tenderness.

For more information or to purchase, please send us a private message or call/text us at (540) 439-8766. Pick-up at our farm in Bealeton, Virginia - by appointment only.
