Feys Kids Farm Project

The Feys Kids Farm project, was started by Seneca, Jack and Nick Feys in Beallsville, Maryland. Teaching our children about business, accounting, P&L, responsibility while involving nature and a little fun.

The children use their Farm Project to fund their own retirement and have been doing so since 2013. Thank you for your support of the Feys Kids Farm Project!

We are taking orders for Red Stars for sale, 19 weeks, FULLY BEAKED BIRDS, hatched date 01/21/2019 and ready Mid-May of 2020.

2-10 $20 each
11-20 $15 each
21-50 $12.50 each
51+ are $11 each if picked up by the weekend they are ready

Our last batch sold out in less than a week.

Seneca, Jack & Nick Feys are getting their birds together for the Moose Manor Farms LLC Poultry Swap in Accokeek Maryland tomorrow from 0800 - 1400. The Feys Kids are bringing Bielefelders, Barnvelders, Swedish 55s, Cream Legbars currently 22-26 weeks. NPIP Certified. Look for the American flag flying high to find them. See you there!

The Feys Kids Farm Project is looking forward to seeing everyone at the Moose Manor poultry swap this Saturday Sept 29th in Accokeek. The Kids will have 22-26 week old rare breed poultry including breeds from Holland, England, Germany and Sweden. Please look for Old Glory flying above their site.

The Feys Kids Farm Project currently has available for sale one week old Red Star production chicks. Please spread the word if you know of anyone who is looking for chicks from a great laying breed - 300+ eggs per year. The chicks are ready for their new homes now!

The Feys Kids were helping with the Montgomery County 4-H Beef Club 5th annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser this past Saturday evening. There was a terrific turnout for the delicious food, silent auction and service from all of the very polite club members.

As you are thinking about the holidays, or contemplating what original gift to give for that special someone - consider a CSA from the Feys Kids Farm Project. Enjoy Freshly Baked Bread, Home Made Jams from the Cottage Bakery and Fresh Eggs collected daily from our Pasture Raised chickens as well as breakfast link sausage (Sage/Maple), Sweet Italian sausage or Kielbasa and a limited availability of natural Thick Cut Bacon --- meats are from the kids Pasture Raised pigs.

Our second stop was to pick up some Cream Legbar chickens for our 2016 hatching season. They will be put into quarantine for 30 days and vaccinated before being placed in a breeding pen of their own. The Cream Legbars produce a BEAUTIFUL egg and we are excited about having them. Yay!

Today Jack & I went on an "adventure" with our dad, at least that is what he likes to call them. This usually involves some sort of animal.....

Our first stop was to a dog show where we met Elsa's breeder Mr. M.J. Cohen who taught us how to handle in a conformation show. He was very nice and had a 12 month old harlequin puppy there who just about came up to my shoulders.....almost!

Jack's Friesian ster mare Jacqueline had a beautiful c**t "Wout" in May. Will he grow up to look like our former stallion Fridse 423 Sport? We can only hope!
