Come down to the Clintonville Farmers Market for a fresh selection of locally grown salad mix, radishes, beets, and scallions! We also want to encourage the growth of more local food in our community so we are excited to share our left over heirloom tomato starts, free of charge. There is only one flat of these plants so they will be first come, first serve!

We will not be offering herbs for sale this year except for dill. I am going to be digging up these perennial onion chives to repurpose the herb bed for other produce. If you’re interested in herb gardening, these are very easy to grow in garden beds or containers and will come back year after year. As with all of our produce, these are grown using organic practices without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. $4/4” clump for transplanting.

After pricing new plastic cell trays for seed starting this year, I’ve decided to try using soil blocks instead. Soil blocks help eliminate single use plastics, are more space efficient, and prevent root circling in cell trays before transplanting. The price of soil block tooling is just as crazy as that of throw away plastic though. Thankfully, I have some ingenuity and more importantly, a patient and supportive wife that let me use her kitchen on this 1 degree day to fabricate my first soil block maker! This will be step 1 in soil block making and will help produce 1” cubes that can be potted up into larger blocks of soil if necessary!

Taking advantage of this beautiful November day to break this old pasture into new garden beds!

Due to limited availability, our farmers market season has come to an end. We appreciate and thank all of our customers who purchased our produce by order, at our farm stand, and at the Clintonville Farmers Market this season. We are excited to take what we learned this season to improve our selection and availability for the 2026 season. Keep an eye on this page in early 2026 for fresh updates!
