All hands on deck to help Jack Johnson the foster dog! He is the sweetest great pyrenees/husky mix who was dumped in a pasture a few weeks ago and is now staying on the farm. He was someone's pet as he is fixed and knows commands. We just went to the vet and so I am doing a couple of things to offset the cost which are:

Sweet Times on the Farm trucker hats - $35
Originally I got this hat embroidered for Chase as a gift but everyone loves it so I decided to offer it for this occasion! Preorders will close in two weeks on 6/29, the hats will come in and they will be embroidered locally at The Monogram Shop. I will deliver to Beaumont/Midcounty/Fannett in or you can pick them up on the farm in Fannett. The form asks for your contact info so I will keep you updated!

Foster Farm Hike - $20
I will lead you around the farm to my favorite scenic spots while Jack Johnson gets a little exercise! You can also do this in addition to cow cuddling if you reach out to me directly so I can schedule enough time.

Second annual farm field trip! 🐄🚜🐓

We had an udderly egg-cellent time with the 3-5th graders from high island this year! They cuddled cows, learned about chickens, and checked out some of the heavy equipment that helps on the farm. We wouldn’t be able to do it without the support of our parents Chuck and Kim, the great teachers at high island who helped their kids navigate the farm, and our chicken station leader and very good friend Kara .laine 🤗.

A moment caught from this past weekend 💛

Minnie was resting her nose on the lower fence looking tired and over it while letting her two calves get some breakfast. I offered to hold her head up and she leaned in.

They still teach me so much with all these interactions… how across species moms push through even when they don’t feel like it, how I see Minnie as a mother and as a calf in my mind, how little moments being present are all it takes to be reliable, how beautiful it actually is when you allow yourself to receive help and love like they do. Forever grateful for our animals 🥹

Taking a break from usual farm content to share this guy who is looking 👀 for a home!! 📍Beaumont TX

We found him near the road in one of our pastures last Wednesday and picked him up when he started walking in the road. He is not microchipped and no one has stepped forward as his owner. He is living in a cattle trailer now and would love to be able to spend the night inside somewhere with all this rain.

About him:
✔️sweet & gentle temperament
✔️fixed
✔️potty trained 💯
✔️has had some behavior training, he listens well!
✔️loves a cuddle as much as a walk
✔️age unknown, adult
