We discovered this wine on an active volcano in Sicily… and now it has made its way to Southeast Texas. 🌋🍷
Two years ago, we stood on the slopes of Mount Etna for an intimate tour and tasting at Palmento Costanzo. Learned about how the community rebuilds vineyards after each eruption. How the small community all pitches in during harvest season.
We fell in love with their wines, especially Mofete, so much that whenever we dined out in Sicily afterward, we found ourselves searching restaurant wine lists for another bottle to enjoy.
And now, it has come full circle. ❤️
Today, we are thrilled to offer this beautiful Etna Rosso to our Club Bon Vivant members first.
Made primarily from Nerello Mascalese, affectionately known as the “Pinot Noir of Italy,” Mofete is everything we love about Etna: bright red fruit, elegance, energetic acidity, fine tannins, savory herbs, and that unmistakable volcanic mineral character. Complex, soulful, and endlessly captivating.
But this bottle means even more to us because we discovered it there. On Mount Etna. In the vineyards. With the people who make it.
Finding wines abroad, building relationships with the producers, sourcing those bottles, and bringing them home to share with our community is one of the greatest joys of what we do. ♥️♥️
✨ Wine is never just wine. Sometimes, it is a place, a memory, and a full-circle moment waiting to be shared.
🍷 Club Bon Vivant members have first access today.
Send this to someone who loves discovering wines with a story. 🌋🇮🇹
