We don’t do many weddings, in fact we only do them for people we know. I’m in awe of flower farmers who do all the business of growing plus the business of weddings.

This was the celebration of a friend who we’ve know since she and Claire were little girls. It was such a pleasure to be involved in her joyous wedding day.

Whenever people stop by to see the farm they ask if I have help. Yes! I could never operate without my absolutely fabulous crew. We had a rare day yesterday with all of us together (and it was a hot one!)
I’m grateful to these women who work so hard in all weather to plant, harvest, w**d, deliver and do bed prep for all our beautiful flowers. You are amazing!!

Rock and River Flower Collective—these are the amazing humans I work with everyday. We’ve been selling together for several years and I admire and appreciate each one of them. We text at 10 at night (or later) and 5am (sometimes earlier) and are on our flower growing journey together 🥰🌸💕Our flowers are available to florists and designers in DC, VA, MD and WV. What a spring. Winter that wouldn’t let go of its icy grip on us and then random days in the 80s. Growing flowers to sell is not for the faint of heart. But the joy that we get when we hand over buckets of beauty makes it all worthwhile. The pictures say it all.
