Keep in mind, that in times like this, not only is Maple Syrup a staple for pancakes or French toast — it’s an amazing sugar substitute. Our infused syrups are fantastic in coffee or cocoa. Our maple cream is amazing on toast or as frosting.

Turning Sap into Syrup
The Dawson family’s locally owned Twin Maples Farm in Beaver Dams has been making small batch maple syrup for over thirty years. Four years ago, Mike and Nancy’s granddaughter, Madaline, did her Science Fair project on Turning Sap into Syrup, and sparked the beginning of turning a hobby into a business. With encouragement from friends and family, and accompanied by a sold-out season from a combination of social media sales and word of mouth, Twin Maples Farm has tapped into a good thing.
In the 2017 off season, Mike and his son, Jeremy, built a new sugar haus, invested in all new top-of-the-line production equipment, and turned the family’s hobby into the full-scale production it is today. Twin Maples Farm is one of the few, if only, maple syrup producers of its size in Schuyler County
