Johnny Appleseed's Orchard. We will have a variety of Apples and Pumpkins. Currently we have 700 apple trees, grapes, pumpkins, and even honey bees.

Our orchard has a variety of apple trees to meet everyone's taste.

Having a small family farm/orchard is not easy. So it is with great sadness that we let you know the orchard will not be open for apples this year. Mother Nature got us with a few hail storms and the Japanese Beatles.

However, stay tuned. We are hoping to open the pumpkin patch in the near future.

This still hold true from last year. We may be down but not out.

To our valued customers, it is with great sadness that we let you know the orchard will not be open this year. Mother Nature was not kind to us this spring and her wrath continued through the summer. With a warmer than normal March, the late frost in April hit us at First Bloom, taking out 90% of our apple crop. What apples remained, didn’t fare well with the drought. The drought also killed the pumpkin crop.

It is quite amazing how much small farms and orchards are at the mercy of Mother Nature. These smaller farms do not always have the means for the equipment and labor to combat the weather. Johnny Appleseed’s Orchard wants you to know that we appreciate every one of you and the support you give to our small orchard. We will be back next year better than ever.

From Corning-take 414 to Chambers Road and stay going up the hill on Demunn Rd, and we are on the left.
From Watkins-take 414 to Chambers Road and stay going up the hill on Demunn Rd, and we are on the left.
From Horseheads/Elmira-Take Sing Sing Rd to Tompkins corners. Take a left on Chambers Rd. Take Chambers Rd until you get to the Y where the Catlin Town Hall is and stay to the right. Take first left onto Saylor Hill Rd. Come to T and take a right on Demunn Rd and we are on the left.
