Travis Ranch

Travis Ranch Ranch. Homesteading. Country Living. Crafts. We invite y’all to follow us as we grow in our community and as a ranch and family.

We started off as a mini ranch in the Stoutsville, Ohio area and now we are a medium size ranch and have moved outside of the Chillicothe, Ohio area. Currently our livestock consists of our 5 loving hounds, a Dutch rabbit, 10 Black Autralorp Chickens (2 roosters and 8 hens), and 3 Nubian dairy goats. We are always looking to improve ourselves and hope to have more livestock added to our ranch. The

man of the ranch, Adam Travis, was born and raised in the Chillicothe, Ohio area. His day job is a Journeyman Electrician out of Local Union 683 in Columbus, Ohio. But his full time job is the complete running the ranch (building, mending, feeding, protecting, etc.), lovin’ the lady of the ranch, and putting his great workmanship to use by creating so many things that we are able to enjoy on the ranch. The lady of the ranch, Laurie Travis, was raised in Stoutsville, Ohio area. Her responsibilities (morning, noon, and night) is lovin’ the man of the ranch, taking care of the homestead, caring for the animals, milking the goat, helping run the ranch, and dreaming up amazing ideas for the ranch….and then laying on the charm to convince Adam to create/bring to life those dreams! Laurie also enjoys photography and creating and selling crafts, please check out our Crafts by Travis Ranch photo album!

So back when we were asking for name suggestions for these two we were right in the middle of dealing with a medical issue with our dog and picking names was put on the back burner.
So without further ado let me introduce to you Chop Stick and Soy Sauce. You may think our children picked out the names, but don’t be fooled....it was me and my husband. For some reason being funny my husband called the white one Chop Stick and a few days later I came up with Soy Sauce for the other because she is brown....so we have decided to just roll with it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Another item that I made for a recent baby shower, a Bandanna Bib.
Would there be any interest in these if I started selling them? If so, what do think would be a fair price to ask for these?
