Eastview Farm Eastview Farm is home to four generations of the Nuckols family. The Nuckols' are dedicated to their cows, milk, and land. Their sons, F.C.

History
Eastview Farm, located on more than 1,000 acres in Beaverdam, Virginia, is owned and operated by the Nuckols family. The farm was purchased in 1955 by the late Page Nuckols and his wife, Elsie. and Wayne, purchased their first Holstein together in the late 1960’s and embarked on a now exclusive dairy farming operation. In the late 1990’s, Eastview welcomed the third generation of Nuckols,

Matt and Taylor, who joined the operation full-time. Today, the farm is operated solely by F.C., Wayne, Matt and Taylor with Elsie maintaining some administrative duties. The Herd
Eastview Farm now has more than 250 Purebred Registered Holsteins and milks 120 cows with a RHA of 25000 lbs, and a BAA of 107.7. The goal of the breeding program is balance of type, production and health traits with a focus on placing bulls into AI organizations. Eastview Farm markets their cows worldwide based on the cows’ genetic value. Offspring from the herd have been sold to countries such as Japan, Italy, Germany, Spain, Mexico and Canada. Highlighted cow families include Mattie G and Love Lady. The foundation female of the Mattie G family is Eastview Matt Lucky Gill. Gill and her descendants have 35 Excellent offspring, including 9 Gold Medal Dams and 33 Dams of Merit. This family has also placed 87 sons into AI. Commitment to Excellence
The Nuckols family is committed to providing excellent care for our animals, producing a quality consumer product, promoting the agriculture industry and being responsible environmental stewards. Eastview Farm is a recipient of the Virginia’s Finest Award for the high quality of milk it produces. The operation uses practices such as no-till cropping and a nutrient management plan to conserve resources and protect the environment. The farm is involved in many agriculture outreach initiatives and makes appearances at various promotional events.
