11 out of 18 baby quail have officially hatched 🐣

The brooder is already full of tiny peeps, busy feet, and fluffy energy as this first group settles into their new home outside the incubator.

Meanwhile, Bristol is keeping a very close eye on things, patiently watching and waiting for the remaining 7 eggs to pip. If you’ve ever seen someone will eggs to hatch just by staring at them… you know the look.

We’re not quite done yet, but it’s already been an exciting hatch day here at Pointer Run Farm. Stay tuned—more little arrivals coming soon 🤍

So much goodness atThe Freckled Flower Farm Friday Farmers Market 💕🌿

Apparently, I forgot to share this here after posting in the neighborhood group…

It looks like Yogi and Boo Boo are officially out of hibernation and already making their rounds—this time taste-testing the neighborhood bird feeders 🐻

They’re fun to watch… from a distance 😅 As long as they keep their curiosity away from my ladies (a.k.a. the chickens), we’ll get along just fine.

Spring is starting… so here’s your Pointer Run Farm photo dump 🌸🐓🌱

The blooms are finally showing off, the gardens are planted, and the baby chicks have officially graduated to outdoor life ☀️

Our very first little rooster even held his first “meeting” — trying to set some boundaries with the flock like he runs the place already 😂🐓 Meanwhile, Dad and Bristol had to step in and round up the older ladies who weren’t exactly impressed…

And speaking of Bristol… our GSP has appointed herself head of quail security 🐦 She makes her first stop there every single morning and keeps up with hourly rounds just to make sure her tiny friends are still exactly where they belong ❤️

Farm update: the dogs also saved Dad from all the creepy crawling chaos under the house 🕷️😳 We’ll just say they were very brave… and he was very happy to have backup 😂🐾

Never a dull moment around here… and we wouldn’t have it any other way 🌾✨

So I saw this this morning… and just had to share ❤️

Just a little shoutout to my amazing husband…
You know, the one who said “no more animals, no more projects… just fishing time.” 🎣

And yet… he spent his entire weekend building and expanding to help us keep up with our current “housing shortage” around here 🦆🐓🥚

Because let’s be honest — this farm keeps growing whether we planned it or not ☀️

We appreciate you more than you know, and we all love you for it 💕

They’re already settling in, peeping up a storm, and stealing hearts. I’ve definitely already picked a favorite (no shame 😄) — now comes the hard part… choosing the perfect name!

Good morning from the farm! We’re excited to share that we have 8 little hatchlings this morning 🤍
They’re already up on their feet, fluffy, and full of personality. A few more eggs are still resting in the incubator, so we’re keeping a close eye on things today.

Our very first quail baby made its grand entrance today — fresh out of the egg and still a little wet and wobbly. It’s amazing how something so tiny can feel like such a big milestone!

Now the waiting game begins… more eggs are rocking and we’re hoping siblings arrive soon 🥰

🐥 Quail Hatching Experiment at Pointer Run Farm 🐥

We’ve got a fun little experiment underway here at Pointer Run Farm!we are trying out a new hatching setup with our quail eggs, and we’re excited to see how it goes.

Eggs are in the incubator,all carefully monitored, turned, and loved on as we wait to see the hatch, keep you posted as the days go by and (fingers crossed 🤞) we start seeing tiny pips and fluffy babies soon!
