It’s amazing and head spinning when we stop to think about all the details needed to run this farm business. It’s both the scale and the diversity of a small farm that means so much care is put into every crop and project. May and June are just always filled with nonstop lists that we rarely accomplish more than 20% of and a pressure to get it right once per season. There’s also an openness and excitement as we get into fields, feel the heat and start having our customers on board. Some CSA shares are still available (check website) as well as plants for your garden ( next Saturday 5/30) . Wanna come down and help out? DM or email us and have a GREAT holiday weekend (even if you’re working the whole time!)

A day at the office. A sweet time with my coworker, for sure! And also the fuller picture is that I've been in almost constant pain for over a week with ahingles! 😥 Crawling out of this awfulness one little day at a time. And the work continues...

So many exciting things happening this season here on the farm! We’re building new infrastructure, tending to thousands of greenhouse stats to feed our community until the winter and starting to pull lettuce and radishes out of the ground! It's a really special thing to eat seasonally-- to connect with what grows when, with how to enjoy each season, to nourish your body with what is offered hyper-locally. When people get their produce from us, the vast majority of it has been harvested that day or the day before. FRRRRESH
