Tanning Oil is stocked up! Before making this fresh batch I dug a bit deeper into what oils make the best tanning oil…..I like to make sure I’m not missing anything as I continue to grow in my knowledge of Earth’s amazing offerings……turns out my original formulation was spot on 😎 So instead of reformulating a perfect recipe I upgraded the label design a bit.

Restocking our After Sun Spray and creating a new After Sun Lotion this week as well! Take care of that precious skin while enjoying the beautiful warm sunshine this summer ☀️

Amelia and I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone that came out Saturday to the craft show to say Hi and stock up on goodies. Amelia sold a ton of her delicious cookies and had the most genuine smile while navigating the new territory of running the table and communicating her products with customers. Super proud of her!!

The highlight of the day was a sweet lady who was suffering from constant neck pain and headaches. She tried my Pain Oil and came right back over with the biggest smile, because it helped instantly and she finally felt some relief. She spread the word and I unfortunately underestimated the potential demand, so I’m very back-ordered at the moment, but the happiness in my heart to have created something that not only is completely organic and nature based, but when all else has failed these folks, my pain oil WORKS! It brings not only pain relief, but also brings back some sense of hope for a more pain free existence. ❤️❤️❤️

Hope you all got outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend! Plant starts are coming along nicely and I will soon have more details to share on varieties and availability.

Hey friends! Late notice, it’s been a long couple of weeks, (I feel like I say that way too often….trust me I know, I live it) but we’ll be in Big Lake tomorrow at Goldenrod Glen Senior Living, by the train station, for a vendor event from 10am-3pm! Amelia and I have been working hard today not only stocking up on summer favorites for skin care, but this kid of mine is also baking up a storm for ya’ll! Her cookies are just amazing! And one appears already super happy 😊

I won’t have my full inventory, but I will have a fresh stock of Bug-Be-Gone, Tanning Oil (aaaaamazing stuff!), Pain Massage Oil, Mushroom Coffee, Rosewater Face Toner, Frankincense & Myrrh Face Serum (also unbelievably amazing, and absorbs so light and quick!), Magnesium Cream, our smiling faces to greet you of course, and cookies and well, you’ll just have to stop up and see!

It’s time for the good ol’ summer goodies to bust on out! Bug Repellent, Bug Bite Relief…..(also works amazing for any plant irritation or skin ailment), Tanning Oil, Sunburn Spray (my daughter already dived into that need!)……we will have refill options available soon for our line of cleaning products and our lovely castile foaming hand soap.

Repotting plant starts on this most beautiful warm day 😎🌱☀️ it’s just a tad windy outside 🤪 we have a wonderful variety of tomato and pepper plants for your garden!

I also have quite a bit of wool, and still some lovely alpaca fiber, for any fiber enthusiasts out there!! Send me a message if you would like some! I don’t think my thumb, after my UCL repair surgery, will ever recover enough to be able to indulge in fiber arts without paying the price in aches the next day. 😞 but I can still play my banjo and guitar so I’m content being super thankful for that much!

📣 Special Oatmeal Crème Pie delivery done today! I love making those treats! And they’re oh so good!

Slowly finding time to bake again! Oofta, the unexpected life events have been nothing short of exhausting, mentally and physically….It seems it’s not just me and family and friends that are getting old, it’s my original gang of animals too. My dogs and cat are getting old! I thought I’d finally be able to catch a breath last week after a long prior week of worry for a very dear family member, and nope….my 9 year old collie, Hank, decided his back legs didn’t work anymore….off to urgent care we went and it turns out he has anaplasmosis, a tick borne disease. Say some prayers for my Hanky Boy please!! He has had some very concerning reactions to tick preventatives in the past so that hasn’t been an option.

Warmer weather has arrived and hopefully here to stay! I woke up to snow Sunday morning which was super odd. It didn’t stay long though.

These Sourdough Oatmeal Cream Pies are absolutely delicious. You MUST try some!! Sourdough Blueberry Lemon Crumble Cake…..Sourdough French Bread……🤤😋

And Bone Broth! That’s been a staple here lately. I think I’ve finally hit the jackpot on the perfect blend of herbs and it’s quite enjoyable!

We bid farewell to our sweet boys, Larry and Curly last week! They are settling in at their new home in Wisconsin! It felt a bit odd not sending Moe with them, but Moe’s more than just a friendly sheep, he’s my Mr. Moe Jangles, and he has a forever place in my heart. Maverick ram will be headed to Tennessee soon, and Maisie ewe will be headed to Wyoming soon! My perfect super Nova ewe lamb, oh gosh she’s sure tough to let go of, but she will be greatly loved and headed to her new family soon as well in Wisconsin. She is everything that Valais Blacknose should be. Everything I dreamed of achieving when I got into this breed 5 years ago. As much as I wanted to keep her, her sister Nora had an accident a couple weeks ago and broke her leg, and I feel the right thing to do is to keep her instead, as her healing journey will likely span beyond weaning age, and it would be in her best interest to stay home here with her mama. She’s not far from perfection either, but I had it in my head that Nova was an extension of my dearest departed Luna, and I wanted to cling to that memory and connection. Perhaps moving forward and not holding on to what once was is a healthier option. 🤷‍♀️

Plant starts are loving the Boom Room! Tomatoes are planted as well! This year I’m hoping to grow many of the botanicals I use in not only my skin care products but in my teas as well. 🌱🌱🌱

I can’t even begin to explain the depths of heavy life events this year has brought. However, every event, no matter how heavy, brings an opportunity to grow in our own personal strength. I have been doing very well with that this time around! So my off and on online presence is not intentional or a reflection of less farm ventures, but more managing my time and mental health by being present where I need to be, which isn’t online. 😉

We had a little too much fun last weekend dressing up the sheepy’s, and spending time recharging our souls with sheep snuggles. ❤️🐑🐏❤️ Winnie definitely wins the photo contest, which I love to say because I often call her “Winnie Win”. 😎

Well, I’m down to no more sheep for sale for this year, but I’m sure looking forward to next years breedings already! We will have our first breedings with Ms. Maia (F5 Valais), and Ms. Melody (F1 Valais/Polypay). Super excited to see what Melody’s lambs look like as we “breed-up” the Polypay foundation Valais mix.
