Transcending Roots is an herbal apothecary offering small batch wildcrafted and organic tea blends, herbal remedies, herbs, and magic. We take great pride in the quality of our herbs and remedies and grow what we can, and work with many regional organic herb farms for sourcing what we can not. ​

Born out of Philadelphia in 2019, we are now based out of the mountains of the Berkshires, and our store is completely online. You can still visit our sister collective, The Sacred Path Herbal Collective at our old store front in Philadelphia and can find me teaching there and select TR remedies there and other retailers

What we are about

Transcending Roots begins with a goal to inspire and empower healthier communities and reawaken our connection and respect for the earth, by making the knowledge and tools accessible.

To transcend is "to rise above, or go beyond the limits of something," (Merriam-Webster, 2019). With a humbled respect for many herbal traditions, Transcending Roots offers a space to support and offer gratitude for herbalism, magick, and healing rooted in various traditions, and go beyond the limits of their boundaries to bring them together. The roots are the beginnings of life and the source of all of our healing. The plant spirits do so wish to share their gifts with all of us, to be seen, worked with, and respected and honored, which in turn nourishes all of life, Mother Earth, and beyond.

As a community, Transcending Roots represents a web of traditions through each of the herbalists, practitioners, and the community members that each bring their traditions, wisdom, creativity, and love into the space.

​The goal is to provide the community with the tools to be able to prepare many easy to make, effective remedies themselves, in addition to providing a space that offers support for physical, spiritual, and emotional healing through our much needed reconnection with Mother Earth.
