Hello Sweeties!!
On the night of Friday, August 21, 2026 four best friends lost their lives suddenly and tragically in a vehicle accident. Their sudden passing has hit our community hard. One of the young men not only leaves behind his mother and younger brother but a fiance with a baby on the way. Now we know there’s a lot of fundraising going on right now, but let’s show Miss Brianna and Baby Radford that there’s a community of love and hope behind them. Not to mention a couple guardian angels 🤍 Daddy Kaiden and Grandpa Daniel🤍 The fundraiser entails pulled pork dinners with mixed greens, my baked mac-n-cheese and Connie's Sweet Treats will also be donating dessert to go with the dinners. My name is La'Kisha and I am the founder and owner of Connie's Sweet Treats. I named the business after my late grandmother Rev. Constance Allen. She loved sweets and we enjoyed them together. I inherited my love for baking from my aunt Cynthia Allen. I love baking it is my peace. Feeding others is also part of love language. Good afternoon Sweeties 😊 While I am closed for orders this week it is for good cause. VBS starts tonight & it isn't just for the kids there will be an adult class each night as well. The adult class, facilitated by Bishop Fred T. Simms, Pastor David L. Moore, Pastor Carolyn Francis and Pastor Jeannette Thomas, will be held upstairs from 7-8 pm. There is something for everyone so I personally invite you to come join us!!

The last 24 hours were busy but I would not change one single thing about it. From being honored to provide my sweet treats for a special 1st birthday party to making my Gentle Giant's favorite fudge for his birthday yesterday. I am exhausted but yet grateful for the gift God blessed me with.

Hey Sweeties Heyyy!! It's been a busy 24 hours. I made 3 pound cakes
2 pans of banana pudding and 2 pans of peach cobbler for our Pastoral Anniversary dinner today. I hope you all have had a nice relaxing weekend. I am exhausted and calling it a night before night comes 🫣

Happy Sunday Sweeties!! Come get into these 2 new pound cake flavors. The first is strawberry shortcake made with my homemade vanilla poundcake, homemade whipped cream and fresh strawberries. I do believe this is my households new summer dessert 🫣 The 2nd is a strawberry cream cheese pound cake with my Aunt Cynt's strawberry glaze. I hear this cake was amazing!! 🥰 This cake is versatile with the different glaze that can be added.
