Another NEW BOOK! in less than a month's time!

She Makes Herself Clothing, by Sarah Phero. Available on our website or in the farm store now. INTRODUCTORY SPECIAL $15. (MSRP $18)

The virtuous woman of Proverbs 31 is noted for her proficiency in textile production; and throughout millennia, women have had a central role in creating apparel. She Makes Herself Clothing encourages women today to continue in this important work by making and maintaining clothes for themselves and others. Author Sarah Phero shares her story of transition to homemade clothing, along with a Biblical, historical, and practical look at apparel, ideas for overcoming clothes-making obstacles, and a yearlong journal of making and maintaining clothes.
